I chalked it up to YAWN and moved on.
Yet Another Wannabe Nobel-laureate trying his hands at a camcorder. But I never figured it would attract an iota of our attention. Not after years and years of the same old Islam-bashing and Islam-o-phobic rhetoric. Why would we switch channels from watching NFL to catch yet another reminder from So. Cal. that the so called freedom of speech is alive and well from sea to shining sea? Certainly, and especially, not when we are still fresh from bashing Ahmadinejad for exercising his freedom of speech - albeit not a speech in our language and certainly not a speech we'd love to hear week in and week out!
But above all, most certainly, not after we fully understand what our Lord Told us about how He Elevated our beloved Prophet's name above all humanity.
Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) name is mentioned right after the name of our Lord in every call for prayer.
Then why worry? Why dignify YAWN?
Why bother? Why resort to such violent protest when our Prophet's Honor is Guaranteed by our Lord? Why can't we instead emulate and follow our beloved Prophet's noble character of the highest caliber,
and show restrain and patience?
No one could tarnish Muhammad's (PBUH) name. And certainly no one could even come close to putting out the Light of our Lord no matter how much they try.
It is so sad that our friend, our ambassador, Christopher Stevens gave his life because of our violent outburst when we should have stayed calm and showed some patience.
Instead we ended up siding with those very imbeciles who are out to hurt Islam. And we did that by stooping to their level.
We abandoned the high moral character that was the hallmark of our beloved Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.

و رفعنا لك ذكرك
And we raised high for you your esteem. (94:4)Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) name is mentioned right after the name of our Lord in every call for prayer.
Then why worry? Why dignify YAWN?
Why bother? Why resort to such violent protest when our Prophet's Honor is Guaranteed by our Lord? Why can't we instead emulate and follow our beloved Prophet's noble character of the highest caliber,
وإنك لعلي خلق عظيم
And indeed you are of a great moral character (68:4)and show restrain and patience?
No one could tarnish Muhammad's (PBUH) name. And certainly no one could even come close to putting out the Light of our Lord no matter how much they try.
يريدون ليطفو نور الله بأفواههم والله متم نوره ولو كره الكافرون
They intend to put out the Light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah Will Perfect His Light no matter how much the disbelievers may dislike it. (61:8)It is so sad that our friend, our ambassador, Christopher Stevens gave his life because of our violent outburst when we should have stayed calm and showed some patience.
